Plot

After escaping from the black ghost at the end of Madame Fate, the Master Detective returns to Ravenhearst Manor. She is greeted by Emma's ghost, who requests that she helps to rescue the other trapped souls within the manor before Charles returns. After gaining access to a hidden passageway, the detective encounters Rose Sommerset's ghost, who instructs the detective to unlock the three doors up ahead to free her and the other trapped souls. Above the doors are tubes transferring strange green fluid.

After opening the middle door, the detective finds herself in Roseville, a western town named after Rose. Using the elevator in the general store, the detective reaches a cavern and finds Rose's corpse in a coffin connected to the green tubes. After disabling the mechanism, Rose's soul is freed as her body disappears. Rose asks the detective to rescue her daughters too.

Unlocking the left door, the detective finds more buildings consisting of a toy shop, a school, and a gingerbread house. The ghosts of Rose's daughters, Gwendolyn and Charlotte, beg the detective to free them from their father's clutches. Discovering a passage through the toy shop. the detective locates the coffin housing the twins. After freeing them, they warn the detective of their brother Victor, who is helping Charles with his dark plots.

This gives the detective the clue that is needed to open the right door. The detective finds a cable car that she uses to reach a cabin located near the Manor. Inside, she encounters Victor, who is somehow immortal despite being old. Victor attacks the detective and imprisons her in the Manor's attic. After escaping, she returns to Victor's cabin, until overhearing Victor and Charles returning.

The detective finds a key to solve a puzzle in the elevator, allowing her to reach a previously inaccessible floor housing a laboratory. There, she discovers plans for an immortality machine with Charles inside; he is infuriated with her for stealing his first love but suddenly discovers that his strength isn't returning. It turns out the green tubes are connected to the machine and Rose and the twins' souls are used to power it. Because the detective freed them, the machine is rendered powerless. Charles calls for Victor to deal with the detective, but she destroys the machine. Charles instructs Victor to escape using a time machine. Swearing revenge, Victor uses it to travel from 2008 to 1895. The detective escapes the Manor as it burns to the ground, and the souls of Emma, Rose, and the twins are finally freed from its evil.
